  11. I have a friend that is trying to install Workbench 3.1 into an Amiga 3000/16
  12. system.  (When he is done it will be an A3000 with an A3640 and
  13. AmigaOS 3.1 in it).

  15. Anyways, his A3000 has a Rev 7.3 motherboard that came with a ROM Tower. The
  16. ROM Tower had the pre-2.04 Kickstart boot ROMs installed in it.

  18. The problem is that we cannot get the system to work with the Kickstart 3.1
  19. (v40.68) chips.  Actually, they are the new 'Kick-It' board-chips.

  21. Someone on the IRC has told me that we might need to get different ROM chips
  22. for this type up setup, and I will investigate that.  I am curious to know if
  23. anyone else with this type of configuration has gotten AmigaOS 3.1 running,
  24. and what kind of problems they ran into.
